HOS hosted “Meeting By The River” as part of the South End Night Market outside 15 Warren St. The purpose of the pop- up was to engage the community, while amplifying other businesses/creative work that takes place in in the South End.
“Meeting By The River” Installation - In order to reconsider the varied strains that shape up our environment, “Meeting By The River” explores the significance of communality in relation to the tensions of our current socio-political landscape. The creation of this spatial relationship reacts with the viewer to establish a demystified reading of the object, leaving only its social significance intact. Continuing with the brand’s sustainability ethos, “Meeting By The River” aims to provide an alternate experience to the traditional retail space, while adhering to the guidelines in place due to the global pandemic.

The Youth Political Alliance (YPA) is a young-person-led political action group committed to advancing political education and awareness in Albany, New York. For our entire lives, we, as young people, have been excluded from the political process despite the decisions of policymakers having a massive impact on our daily lives and futures. YPA is committed to building a youth centered force to amplify our voices and enact transformative change.
